Biography

Arielle advises employers on day-to-day labor and employment-related matters and defends employers in similar litigation. Arielle's employment litigation experience includes representing companies in discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination cases, and in complex litigation such as wage-and-hour class actions and representative actions under the Private Attorneys General Act ("PAGA"). In defending complex litigation, Arielle has been successful in eliminating and reducing claims through motions for summary judgment/adjudication and has defeated motions for class certification. She has handled multiple cases on appeal, including petitioning the California Supreme Court.

Regarding traditional labor law, Arielle has represented employers in unfair labor practice proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, as well as in grievance proceedings pursuant to various collective bargaining agreements. She has also handled claims regarding Taft-Hartley trust fund contributions in federal court. Arielle has also assisted with negotiations of multiple collective bargaining agreements.

Arielle earned her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and graduated from University of California, Davis School of Law. During law school, she was a law clerk for Rediger Labor Law, and clerked for the Honorable David De Alba in the Sacramento County Superior Court. While in law school, Arielle was on UC Davis's Trial Practice Honors Board and published an article on privacy issues related to "always-listening" devices.
